Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Congrats! Did you get your naturalization certificate back? Trying to see how long it takes to get the certificate back. I'll be applying for my passport right after my oath ceremony next week!

Congrats. Considering the pandemic, 3 months isn't all that bad. Regular applications for children under weird custody circumstances or lost passports can take 8-12 weeks or even longer.

But glad to see all these approvals. DoS is cranking up the production pipeline.

I wonder how are PP applications routed? DO they go to a central location for processing and printing of the PP? Or do they go to more local centers to be issued? Basically does it make a difference on the processing times, depending on where you apply from? Does anyone know?

They go to central locations , I live in Missori and during the pandemic closed down I wanted to get the PP passport so they told me I would have to come to Chicago on the day of flight to pick up the passport .I never went with that process ,

My experience has been adult, routine applications are routed locally (I received mine from the Houston passport agency) and processed the quickest. More complicated applications are sent to central locations (a child's passport was sent from New Hampshire, while another to replace a lost one came from Virginia).

Also, processing time is likely a function of application complexity rather than where you apply from or processing location.

Covid-19 may have kicked all of this to the curb though.
