That is a problem ..we communicate in French , English and Spanish so I think that is an advantage

This is not a problem at all, i talked in Spanish to one of his brothers who's in Spain, and write in French to his Aunt as English does not translate good into Arabic,  and i am trying to learn Arabic

As long as you choose to take the interveiw in English as Casa expects you to know and write in English to live here,  u are ok

and besides that knowing several languages is a plus in any country

Did anyone had any problem because of the age difference while applied for k1 visa !

My husband and I have a 17 year age gap but we married in Morocco and then applied for a CR-1 visa. My opinion is that as long as you have sufficient evidence of a bonafide relationship, you should be okay. Good luck to you.

I'm am 9 years older than my partner too. I don't think it's a big deal at all if you have enough face time, met family, and don't have other red flags.

Our age difference was brought up at the interview, but it didn't seem to be a concern at all to the officer. They liked that we had spent a lot of time together 5 trips and around 80 days, they also liked seeing photos of me and his family.

Good luck with the process!

Not sure if anybody is keeping count but I would think 9 years puts you right into the median age difference, so you certainly will not be looked at as abnormal.

Be prepared to have it denied.  K1s can be difficult to obtain even under the best of circumstances.  Also, the K1 is more expensive.  Have you thought about doing the CR1?  It's not for everyone but if you are looking for a safer way to get approved, cost less and avoid extensive administrative processing, I would recommend the CR1.  I should say though, you should have lots of evidence regardless if it's a K1 or CR1.  Good luck.

We did the spouse visa and we have a 9 year age gap.  It was never even brought up at the interview.  I think you will be fine.  But I would also say to maybe consider the spouse visa.   For my husband it was very important that he be able to work right away so that is one of the reasons we chose the spouse visa.  Also the K1 is more expensive and we didn't want to go through the adjustment of status.  That is totally a personal choice though so good luck with whatever you do.
