I rarely think about it myself unless someone makes an issue of it, like "millennials are all spoiled and living in their parents' basements, without real employment." This definitely doesn't apply to me or the people I know who are similarly aged. It really is an artificial grouping that doesn't say much of anything. I mean, I have plenty in common with people born in the years immediately on the other side of my birth year, because we were very similarly-aged as we experienced huge events like 9/11 and the wars that followed, and culturally in terms of music and films and TV and books. But my sister is two years older than me and her experience of the world is far different from mine. She was an adult on 9/11, getting ready to go to work. I was getting ready for another day of US History and AP English and gym class. 

 

Generations can say something in a really pulled-out-lens sort of way, but not more meaningfully about how themes in society shift so quickly these days. These kids younger than people like cyberfx and me I find totally puzzling -- I had to listen to a Billie Eilish song today when I was waiting in the pharmacy and I was like, what the what is this -- I guess this is music now?  I only found out what it was because it was on TV and apparently she is doing the new Bond song.

Liked only for this.  Sadly the little Scottish flag that showed up on my phone did not show up on the webpage which I can see now I'm home.  But imagine it was like a tiny version of this:

 

Sadly Alex only sounds even a bit Scottish when he's a bit trollied. Maybe that's why I always keep booze in the house.  

 

Also, when I went looking for "tiny Scottish flag" I found something that is called a "battle kilt" and oh my goodness. I need to take a quite cold shower now.
