Isn’t that a good thing?  Sure, there are studies that say a little red wine may be beneficial health wise, but in general, alcohol consumption dropping would seem a positive.

and according to the article it's because millennials are not drinking as much wine, but lets blame Trump anyway

More like:

Uh oh! US wine consumption in 2018 dropped 0.9%, see, look at what a terrible effect on the American populace Trump's (Dec 2019/Jan 2020) wine tariff threats have!

Orange man's trade policies are so bad they even travel back in time to hurt past years.

Yeah, my friends and I are propping up the wine economy pretty well.

On the cusp with Gen X?

Okay, I had to look. I am a millennial: https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/533632/new-guidelines-redefine-birth-years-millennials-gen-x-and-post-millennials

I really don't think I'm of the same generation as Alex's mum (1965) who is apparently Gen X.

Well she could also creep in as a Boomer, have you asked her which one she identifies as?

So she had him young.

But those of us born early on are also called Xennials because we still grew up in the analog age.

I grew up analogue, actually not quite true, some limited digital aspects, just as well there was no social media around in those days, but do not meet those ages.

I guess she could. I've never asked her, but my guess is she hasn't thought too much about it. I guess I could ask? And yes, she was almost 20 when she had Al and his sister. Very young. I don't know how she did it, I was a total child at 19. I guess getting married at 18 wasn't as big a deal then as it seems now -- I was 25 and I still think that was too young.
