Hello everyone,

So we did the whole interview, she has her K1 Visa, everything is done. or so we thought,  she did CFO in davao before the interview, as others have done, so we just had to go back for her sticker. well apparently they are making it really hard, we had been there 5 times in total and they refused to give her the cfo sticker each time. each time they wanted something new, additional information.

I have one divorce and one child from a prior marriage.

first visit was the cfo

2nd visit they said they needed the parenting plan.

3rd visit they said they needed a uilitiy bill to show proof that i lived in usa.

4th the divorce decree had a mix up on the Respondent/Peitioner line, but other then that it was signed and filed in court. but they wont accept it now because i need to correct it.

5th visit, i didnt visit again after April because i had surgery and Rehab. they want proof of my surgery.

Has anyone else experience these issues?  they lady she talked to stated she was the boss. Is there anything we can do. Im not sure what to do, it seems like every time she goes its something new. she lives 5 hours from davao.

If she already has the K-1, is she not good to just leave?

This is the first time I heard somebody posted experience for CFO Davao. I hope you can share more details on how the process was at Davao branch. CFO has it’s own weird way of making it difficult. Heard lots of stories. I hope all will be fine.

They won't let her board the plane with a K-1 visa and no CFO sticker. That's an exit requirement.

The K-1 visa is for the US only...CFO is a Philippines requirement.

does anyone know if we could just go to a different cfo and start over?

I heard good things about cfo cebu from my search.

She is going back again tomorrow morning and i pray it works out.

Does she have the certificate already? If she does, she can just show that to CFO, even if it's not where she had her GCP, and they'll give her the sticker.

Also, didn't they give her a paper or something that states what they needed before giving her the sticker? Going back multiple times is such an inconvenience.

she never got a certificate. just a referral to come back with "required items"

also they wanted a color picture of my passport and military id, she stated the lady thought i was lying.

I'm not sure about getting a new appointment since some people tried doing that but the system recognised the same details so they weren't able to register again, some people were able to though. Let's wait for the experts' replies.

But it's ridiculous that they're giving people a hard time to get the sticker. I was given the certificate right away at Clark and I was waiting for my NOA2 then when I had it. And some people's experiences in Manila only required them to come back the second time for additional documents and they were given the sticker. Is she talking to the same person every time?

My wife went through Cebu, not a problem at all.  With all those trips, if she doesn't get  her sticker the next visit, I'd  be asking to speak to a supervisor or director or someone higher up.  Or another person a least.  I think there is a problem with the person she has to talk with each time. They should inform your Fiancee of EVERYTHING she needs at one time not pick and choose when where and what.    Best of luck and hope it goes through this next visit.

Can't blame her! And I agree with @Highmystic. It has been 5 visits. She should be more assertive since she brought everything they asked for already and it's the same officer every time. Best of luck! Hopefully the next one is the last one. God bless you both.

Unfortunately i think that is also part of the problem, she is really shy.
