Hi guys,

I have the two year green card and the window to apply for the renewal will open in March/2020.

We recently moved, should I wait to apply for the renewal to send my new address or do I need to fill out some form and send it before applying to remove conditions?

Thank you so much in advance!

Does the applicant receive any sort of physical letter in the mail after updating the address?  I got a physical letter after filing the I-865, but my spouse hasn't gotten anything.

Hi, I would recommend yes send them a copy of it that you filed a change of address. That’s also what we did on our removal of conditions. Make sure you file the AR-11 and your spouse also files for a change of address (it’s a different form for the USC). There’s no fee for changing your address with USCIS.

Everything then should be fine. I just received my 10 year GC today. Approved without any RFE or interview.

Wow.. congratulations to you and thanks for your response. Didn’t know there was a separate form for USC. My wife had her DL changed and voting center changed which is part of the document I’m sending. Please if you know the name or code for the form, kindly let me know so we can get it done ASAP. Thanks

Yes, the form's called I-185. I tried to check it on uscis.gov so I could just send you the link. However, I can't find it there anymore. I wonder if they already removed that rule and found it unnecessary to do anymore. You can look into it I-185. For now, just make sure to complete your AR-11. I advice you do it online and just print a copy of the confirmation after you do the change.
