Is there anything other than confirmation of delivery from the tracking that an RFE has been received?  An NOA1 for it or something of the other?

Thanks in advance

No.  Nothing other than the letter itself. That’s why people report not knowing they missed one .. but .. a call to USCIS with the question “ have we been issued an RFE” should get an answer .. you’d just have to check once a week during the whole AOS process !

Sorry I was a little unclear, what I meant was that an RFE has been received on the USCIS side, we mailed off our RFE Response last week and we have the confirmation that our RFE made it to the right place but just was curious if there was something else we can get that signifies that yes they have it in their possession and they are processing it.

If it made it to the right place they will begin to process it. When we sent our RFE response back, we heard back within 3-4 weeks that we were approved. Good luck!

seems like best bet to get a definite would be just to call USCIS and ask if an RFE has been received ?

You could.

Id wait 30 days though from RFE issued.

We got the RFE in November, we sent in the RFE response last week, just to clarify this isn't wondering if there is any way else of figuring out if we got an RFE, it's figuring out if there is any other way other than the tracking clarification from usps that the package has been delivered and that USCIS has gotten our RFE response.

Yeah we sent it exactly to the address for the P.O. Box for "regular mail" as we used USPS, and said it made it to the place.

No I understand. All im saying is if you dont get the status update then youll only know when it gets approved. That timing is around 30 days.

So you can call and sit on hold but likely youll get the status update in a few days.

Where exactly to check for the update? Is it just CEAC, or where at for this stage in the process?

Ignore the above post, figured it out, used the receipt number that was sent on the RFE and checked the case status on USCIS site and it states that the RFE has been received and they have begun working on the I-485 again!
