Does this mean we won't have the ROC with Citizenship?

Hi

 

We have a pending ROC for over a year and our citizenship interview is in two weeks.   We've not heard anything more about the ROC interview,  so does that mean it will not happen on the same day?  Or have any of you arrived for the citizenship interview and been allowed to request the ROC also?  If anyone had both pending and finished the citizenship intereview what happened?  Were you notified you'd do both?

By law you can't naturalize without the 751 approval. If you get a notification about the 751 being transferred to another office so my guess is that you will have a combo interview. If you didn't one of 2 things will happen. Either you'll proceed with the N400 and decision won't be made based on the pending ROC or the other thing that I saw they do sometimes and happened to me personally is that they will cancel the interview for N400 last minute and send you a letter stating that due to unforeseen circumstances they had to cancel the interview. One of two things can happen:

1. You have your n400 interview where the IO decides to make it a combo interview for both applications.

 

OR

 

2. At the end of your n400 interview, the IO says a decision cannot be made at the time due to the pending ROC.
