Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of waiting for NVC to change status of my K1 paperwork from AT NVC to READY.  The embassy is in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  In the meantime, I have a few questions regarding the I-134 as follows:

1/ Alien Number for beneficiary Question: There's a question on the form asking for beneficiary's alien number.  The 9 digits typed above the beneficiary's name on form I-797 (NOA2) is the beneficiary's Alien number correct?

2/ Part 2 Page 2 Under beneficiary's spouse (accompanying or following to join beneficiary): I leave it blank right?  Not sure why the form asks such question unless this form is not specifically designed for K1 visa but for general visa.

3/ Part 3  Page 3 Under Current Employer's Address (if employed): If I'm self-employed and I use my home address as work address, do I fill this out or skip it?

4/ Part 3 Page 3 Item 5 Under Value of My Other Personal Property: I have home equity on my mortgage (in excess of 100k), do I list this as my other personal property?

Subset question: If I make way above the poverty line required to sponsor my fiancee, can I skip this part under personal property and balance of savings and checking?

5/ Part 3 Page 4  Item 26-29 Under I have submitted a visa petition to USCIS on behalf of the following persons, does this question ask me if I had submitted a visa petition in the past for someone else or it simply asks me to fill out the name of the financee I'm currently sponsoring?

Subset question: If it asks me for the current financee I'm currently sponsoring, do I fill out the name of K2 visa here as well?

6/ Part 3 Page 4 Item 38 Under I intend/do not intend to make specific contributions to the supports of my fiancee and her son, do I tick the box I INTEND then explain that I will fully support my fiancee and her son during their stay here in the USA?

A question regarding DS 160:

Can I start working on DS 160 now and submit it online before the embassy in Vietnam receives my paperwork?  I already have my case number and Invoice ID.

Anyone please feel free to answer my questions as much as you can.  I've been using the guides from visajourney for the K1 journey since the beginning of this process and I'm kind of clueless at this stage of the process.  Thanks.

Hello, I can answer some questions

Question 1- you leave it blank unless the country your fiancé’s in have a A #. However the A # is not the number on the 1-797 form

Question 2 - if you’re fiancé have a child that’s will accompany them then you add it if no kids you just leave it Blank

Question 3- if you work from home then you add that address. Where ever you work from you add the address. Make sure you check the box self employed. Yes you still fill it out.

question four I’m not sure I just listed my back accounts.I’m not sure about question 5 because I left it blank. And question 6 I honestly don’t even remember answering that question

sorry I hope some of my questions help.

Ds160- I waited for them to give me instructions.  Then I filled it out But I know every county is different

I hope this helps
