Earlier in the brief conversation, Ocasio-Cortez spoke about the “horrifying” fires raging across Australia and used that as a jumping-off point for broader comments about climate change in general – even though nearly 200 arson-related arrests in Australia since the start of wildfire season have raised doubts about how many blazes were the result of climate change.

Today I had a nice Tuna Salad sandwich and I had to stop and count how much mercury I had ingested this week. My Kumamoto oysters from Vancouver Island needed to be hatched in Hawaii because of ocean acidification.

I suppose arsonists triggered those affects?

That’s what happens when one poaches animals and tries to raise them thousands of miles away from their natural habitat.

Also, many oyster farmers in WA and CA are raising them just fine.  If you’re paying more for “Hawaiian raised” oysters, that is on you.

Wether Donald Trump is fully aware of it, or his political opponents wish to acknowledge it, The new energy secretary is full steam ahead on killing fossil fuels. Rick Perry leaving for greener pastures has been the best thing for the environment and US strategic energy positioning.

Stick a fork in coal, it's done.

"It’s no secret that the Trump Administration has presided over the collapse of the US coal industry, but do they have to rub it in? The answer appears to be yes. On Wednesday, newly minted Energy Secretary Dan Brouillette announced an all-hands-on-deck initiative to push the energy storage envelope farther into coal-killing territory. For good measure, the new $153 million “Energy Storage Grand Challenge” will probably bump off natural gas, too. And all this under a President* who pledged to save coal jobs!'

Still want convincing scientific proof of whether it's environmentally worse to fart indoors or out.

Should probably write to Congresswoman Occasional-Cortex for definitive answers.
