I am not willing to marry in Morocco... I guess only as a last resort. I can make a few more trips to prove the relationship even if I think it’s ridiculous to do so 🙄😖😂.

Sorry,  why not?

you married in the US already so why not go thru a new experience

plus the fact ,  this would help endure you to the family

it is quite an adventure and the assortment of dresses you get to wear are absolutely beautiful

Honestly I don’t like the country I do love the clothes as I brought back a lot when I visited. And I’ve read about what it takes to get married in Morocco and it’s more of a headache than this process. All the running back and forth nonsense. I don’t have the patience for that. I’m willing to visit again and get more evidence of our very real relationship. But the jumping through hoops I’m not doing🤷🏾‍♀️. I’m willing to wait and do the k-1.

This whole immigration process is "jumping thru Hoops"

what are your plans if his K1 is denied?

you'll call it quits?  because then your only alternative is to marry in Morocco and do the spouse visa

and if the K1 is approved , there will be running back and forth to get his SS number,   state Id or driving license, marriage license here,   the AOS application and then the ROC to remove the conditions of the 2 year green card

you're in for a lot more Jumping thru hoops to go K1 and a lot more expense than you know about

Could always get married in a 3rd country (or in the US if he could get a B visa) 🙂 and then apply for the spousal visa from there.

sorry  no chance of a young Moroccan man with a USC gf getting a tourist visa

and pretty hard for them to even get one to go to Europe

and she doesn't want to marry outside the US as it would be a whole lot easier to do there than to jump thru hoops to marry elsewhere

If we have to get married in Morocco I will do it. I just think it is an easier (less annoying) process than in Morocco where you have to do so much and you cant just get married in like a day or so. From what I was reading I have to go to several places get documents from here and there and the docs I have to bring include my (non existent) criminal history and a whole bunch of other stuff that I cant remember right now. It just seems easier to do the k-1.

Moroccan people can only go to like 68 countries and like 65 of them suck🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🙄 so yea I guess we will have to go back to the drawing board. I have to exactly everything it takes to get married there if that is what we get faced with so we are prepared

No way around this.  My husband is from a low/no-fraud country, and we still have to jump through hoops.  I suggest you both read and research as much as possible before filing any petitions.

One visit will likely be insufficient, and they will question why/if he doesn't want kids of his own.

The hoops here are must easier to deal with. Over there you have to get stuff translated to Arabic and pay this guy and that guy. We have been researching for quite some time and the instructions for the 129f say that we have to have met at least once within the past 2 years which we have. I am going to visit again in the next few months. So even if I filed today by the time it’s reviewed and they ask him to come to the embassy we will have seen each other again. His response to not having kids, ideally he would like 1 but my tubes are tied🤷🏾‍♀️ If he has super sperm then I guess I’m having another kid.

Right.  And this is true for a petition approval.  The actual visa approval is a completely different thing, and for Casablanca in particular, they want multiple visits.

Hopefully two will be enough.

You have enough to file the petition.  99.99% chance that USCIS will approve it.   That is not the issue.

Once it gets to the Department of State it is a whole other issue.

If you don't want hoops, get to Hong Kong and get married in 3 days.
