I am creating this thread for all the members facing the administrative processing issue during the 2020! You can share your experiences here and discuss freely! I had my interview on 9th of January 2020 and was told that my visa is approved but still facing administrative processing.

Did you have travel history?

Its the necessary background check that embassy does! it takes a few weeks to several months in some cases depending on your luck! Usually the name and no travel history are also major reasons that lead to greater admin processing chances.

No travel history leads to Admin processing ? .. ?? If you have travel history than you get Admin processing.

That’s not true. It depends case by case.

Many people without travel history are also in AP

Most of the times this is the case .. travel history or not a proper wedding . If everythings good . No travel history no nothing i dont think theres any reason they keep you in Ap.

Everybody goes through AP

Some are longer than others and a few are really long and of course the really long ones which may not be common are the ones we hear about most.

There are issues specific to Pakistan including the lack of central records. So things take longer. Now quite what the factors are in a particular case is a guess.

I was same day issued but that was a long time ago and things have changed, most people on here are issued within a week.

So thats my point  if you have travel history speicially being a male with travel history.. or not a proper wedding. Thats what brings you into the longest Ap. But if male has no travel history .. than its not really a issue . I ve seen people say always an ap there for everyone but i have seen so many same day or same week issued visas.

Not a proper wedding suggests it would not be issued at all. I had I think listed 32 countries I had visited and that was not a problem, so it depends.,
