Ty guys I'm so excited! I want everyone to have a quick experience. Hopefully every center picks up their socks and processes us all quick!

And you just disproved the recent trend of Texas filers going to Nebraska. So thank you lol.

Seems we are at potomac. I got the text with no info and this showed up in the mail today. That's the 2nd sheet but I'm right to assume potomac considering that's the return address correct?

Lol ya. I checked to see if canadians only went to potomac or something. Idk I just wanted to find a pattern and I gave up after a few hours. Anyways great news for me and I am very sad for the people who got Nebraska. I really hope they speed up. Just want everyone to get their special someone there.

Hey August filers, we just got our receipt number. We put it in on the USCIS website, we don't know what service centre we were sent to. Do we wait for hardcopy?

You can either wait for the hard copy letter, or call them to ask. You just need to have your receipt number ready (and a lot of patience because the wait is long!)

How long is the wait time usually?

The phone line said 25-35 min the couple of times I called. I waited for 40 minutes then had to leave, so I hung up. Another time I waited for 1.5 hrs, and they never answered. I ended up getting the hard copy before I could get anyone to answer lol. Other people seem to have better luck than me though!

I called when I got my text and my operator said she didnt know where I was sent. Which is odd since people have gotten answers? But I mean you will get the letter in about 2 or 3 business days too so.

My operator was like “I’m not sure where it went.. I mean, it’s online - you know that right?” I was on hold for 5 minutes during that call and the dude was like, “did you just want to know so you can look at the wait times? The only service center I see mentioned at all is Nebraska, so I think that’s where you went. I’m sorry.” It was a bummer to learn but the dude was so nice and helpful. They’re not all like that but I wish him well.
