Congrats! Did you also get NVC welcome email?

All, how long does it take for NVC welcome email to come? It’s been 5 weeks and I’m anxious. I’ve called them but they said they didn’t receive anything from USCIS and to wait until 6 weeks. Called USCIS and they said to call back after 3 months. Would like to know how long it’s taking for others to get their welcome email.

Hmm, we got our nvc email straight away, like the following day. Ds260 is gonna be submitted tonight and i864 and civil doc by end of next week. Did you get an IOE receipt number? If they're sending it by snail mail it might take a while but try not to worry too much. Let me know how you get on!

Thank you for support. Yes, I got an IOE receipt number. Calling NVC the agent says they didn’t receive my case yet from USCIS. Coming close to six weeks now. Hopefully will hear soon.

HAHA, don't we all!  I sent a mail through the MyUSCIS inbox about my case being behind the date for Texas per their published timelines. This was the reply I got so let's see:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your inquiry dated May 08, 2020.

Regarding the status of your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.

We understand your concern over the delay in processing your Form I-130.

After careful review of your inquiry, we determined that your issue will be best addressed by the USCIS office processing your case; therefore, we are forwarding your inquiry to the TEXAS SERVICE CENTER. The referral ID for this inquiry is WKD############TSC. The TEXAS SERVICE CENTER will contact you concerning your case once they have reviewed your inquiry.

They sent me something similar  also

Any luck yet? If not I would maybe raise it with uscis rather than the nvc, it's probably an issue on their end. Fingers crossed for you! ❤️

Thank you so much for support! But nothing yet. I’ve been calling both but both say they don’t know and don’t have it. USCIS keeps saying that until 90 days have passed they can’t open investigation. NVC keeps saying they didn’t receive it at all and to call USCIS. It’s been frustrating not knowing where it is and both keep giving me run around and just keep telling me to wait. I’ve sent an email to NVCINQUIRY stating that it’s been more than 6 weeks and requested to send me the welcome email. Hope I get some good response back from them.

Oh god, I'm sorry. 90 days is a long time. Our stuff just finally got submitted to the nvc yesterday but apparently its likely to take a while to get sorted, at least according to the time frames on the nvc website. Stupid corona :( you do right to follow up at nvcinquiry though, sometimes the solution is just to keep bothering them. Still... I'm sorry. I hope it doesn't come to you having to wait three months just to open the official investigation 😕

Feeling super frustrated and defeated today!  Once again, I will say we are on a wild goose chase.

Originally in texas, then we were told our case was in CA after first inquiry. Then we got a response to a message on myUSCIS saying our case was within normal processing times for Texas (it was not). We called, and they thought it was odd so they created another inquiry.

Got a response today saying our case is in fact in TX and the following:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received.

Can’t find any positive information on how long this will take. PD is August 9th. Anyone know of similar circumstances?
