Any idea if the NVC is having any technical issues? I have been trying to submit & sign my IV application since yesterday till this morning to no avail.

Any August TSC filers still waiting for approval? My PD is Aug 16 and I feel so anxious right now because I saw a lot of approvals in between ours but still no change since the date change last March 3 on our case. 🥴

We've got the same situation but we're on NSC, our last change was March 4. The cases before and after us just got approved last week. Could be because of the lockdown here in the Philippines? Perhaps they havent completed our background check.

Not sure. I'm not in the Philippines. Had to redo everything because our I-751 (removing conditions of green card) got denied last year. I already got my green card since 2014 but had to redo everything from scratch again. Crazy with this Trump administration. So yeah. I don't know what's going on as well.

And side note, we got married here in L.A. last 2013. So I doubt they'll check it in Manila. Insane how this whole wait is. I remembered in 2013 how fast we got an approval. 6 months with everything. Including my greencard. But I was always here in the U.S. so I didn't mind the wait. But now I'm going crazy with this waiting.

This whole waiting thing sucks, it sucks to be away from our spouses for too long. Lucky for you, you guys are waiting together.

Our lawyer just replied to us a few minutes ago. It seems like the only background check that they'll do is to verify the passport. So it's possible that a USCIS officer who opened our cases last March called maybe two times and no one picked up from whichever office they called in the Philippines and no one answered and just proceeded with another case and will go back to ours eventually. It's frustrating to know that we're being held back because of inefficiency in the Philippines if this is the case.

Priority dates for CR1/IR1 don't mean anything.  The visa is immediately available once you get to the NVC.  Each case is different.

We've finally been approved!

Approval was on the 17th, but I received the Notice of Approval today. We also received an email message from the NVC welcoming us! Sadly, they messed up our interview location, so we will be attempting to fix that before we proceed any further.

Still waiting as well! TSC, but transferred to Potomac. PD is Aug 17. We got date changes on Feb 23, Mar 3, Apr 13, and 14.

I swear if it changes again and nothing happens, I’ll flip a table 😅
