I got an approval yesterday from Potomac. I have updated my timeline.

PD: AUGUST 12, 2019

NOA1: AUGUST 15, 2019

NOA2: APRIL 9, 2020

BENEFICIARY COUNTY : CAMEROON

POTOMAC SERVICE CENTER WITH IOE#

LAST STATUS UPDATE BEFORE APPROVAL: FEB 24, 2020

FIRST STATUS UPDATE: DECEMBER 01, 2019.

NOA1: 8/8/2019

NOA2: 4/10/2019

Beneficiary Country: Spain

Nebraska without transfer

Paper-filed IOE

Our status hasn't formally changed (still "In Process"). But we just logged onto MyUSCIS and the IOE says "Case Closed" and the I-130 Approval Letter is in the uploaded docs.

If you have a prior PD and are still waiting, please know that your day will soon come. I don't understand the current IOE processing and I don't believe anyone (outside USCIS) does. It seems like many LIN cases were transferred out and that Nebraska IOEs are being approved in random sequential batches. But yours will soon come.

One question. Will the NVC email go to the petitioner? Beneficiary? Both? We filed a G-1145 with my (petitioner) email. My husband is freaking out because he regularly deletes spam and is worried he might have accidentally deleted the NVC email 😂

Thanks in advance.

Noa is notice of action. The first letter you recieve when you apply is the noa1, the 2nd when you find out if you are approved or rejected is the noa2.  PD is the date your noa1 was sent out as that begins your countdown. I wouldn't worry too much about the noa2 as interviews are not being held at the moment.

Got approved today!!!
Logged in to USCIS myaccount today and showed case closed but status still said in process. Looked in documents section and it showed Approval notice. However that other egov status site still shows Mar 6 under review and doesn’t show message saying approved.

Congratulations!
So basically you have not received a notice saying that you’re case is approved yet? Am I right?
If that’s the case I may asked my husband as well to check our status. Though he only check our status every end of the month.

I am so happy to hear everyones approval and can’t wait to hear mine too!

Thanks! My case is approved. I was pointing out some of the inconsistencies in their status reporting. I haven’t received notice in postal mail but I’ll be getting it next week I suppose. The “I-130 Approval” links in documents section show the approval letter they’re mailing out. I suggest logging in to account and checking the documents section for approval letter.

Yes!! I had the first date changed on Dec 1st 2019 then the second on Feb 24th but this was for change of address though.  You might want to login and check the document section as well because mine still show in process but it's been approved and the case is close from USCIS.  Another option is to check "Case Status online " via USCIS.gov in the Tools section, it will tell you if you're approve or not.  Good luck.
