Hi. I have a question about the PCC. For anyone who filed at the Mumbai Consulate, do you need 2 copies of the PCC or one? Initially, I thought you needed to bring the PCC to the interview. However, I see on the CEAC website that we have to submit the PCC to NVC along with other civil documents. So do you need one copy for NVC and another to bring to the interview?

One copy - you upload a copy to the NVC and take the original to the interview.

Oh ok. Thank you. There’s no possibility to just bring it to the interview, right? You must submit a copy at the NVC stage too, right? Because India is under lockdown now and there’s no way to get the PCC at this time. That’s the only document we don’t have right now. All other documents for the NVC stage have been submitted, but we’re not able to move forward because we don’t have the PCC.
