Hi all!

Started to grow desperate with my case status and found this lovely forum.

PD 08/09/2019

NOA1 08/14/2019

We are waiting for our case to be approved.  After reading this entire forum, I decided to give USCIS a call and the lovely woman on the phone informed me that there were signs of movement in February and it was transferred to a local office here in Los Angeles on March 4th.  She said there was nothing since then.  I asked her if that meant my case got transferred to a different service center other than Texas and she said no.

We were late to create a myUSCIS account but, once in there, my uploaded case can't be opened as it's in tif.pdf format and not one or the other.  This concerns me very much.  I've put in a request for help with technical issues.  Hopefully, we will see signs of life soon.

My questions for you all are:

Should all of these dates of my case being 'touched' be posted on my account?  Or is there just one date that keeps getting updated and you all keep track of?

Thank you in advance, and sending you all great vibes for great and quick outcomes!

Hi! I’m in the same boat as you, PD 8/17/19. My uploaded case has never loaded either. I’m getting really discouraged seeing everyone else getting approved. I’m especially jealous of the people who applied online and were approved in 1-3 months! August filers are heading into month 9 of waiting now. :(

Anyway, to answer your question: no, the dates aren’t posted anywhere. It’s just one date that keeps getting updated. Some people log in often and keep track of it, some don’t. Either way, no one knows if it’s anything meaningful. We just like to think it is.

Thanks so much for your helpful response!  I'm sorry that we are on the same boat, but there is peace in camaraderie during this waiting period.  It really is sad to see others that applied much later be approved quickly, but I just keep trying to remind myself that perhaps my case isn't as cut and dry? Lol.

Hopefully, we will see results soon.  Saying a prayer for you!

You said your uploaded case ? I mailed in my case pd date 8/14/19 i130 and received a IOE number, on USCIS they only uploaded my passport picture (petitioner), nothing else. Is this correct ? Still waiting on approval

Yes, by uploaded case I mean the document USCIS uploaded onto MyUSCIS. I also mailed in my application and got an IOE number. I’ve never been able to open that document, so I don’t know what’s on there. I’m assuming it’s part of my case because that’s what everyone else says it is.

Not sure if this will help, but I was finally able to open it using Google Chrome!

I also used google chrome and it opened , was your complete application on the web site ,or like mine just a passport copy page , that I had mailed in when I submitted the application?

Thank you! I realized I primarily use my iPad and phone to access MyUSCIS, so I used my laptop today. I was able to download and open the file! It’s labeled as “(Case number-other numbers) Part 1.” It’s basically the first half of my evidence: birth certificate, marriage certificate, timeline of relationship, pictures, and proof of visits.

Hi,

I noticed most of the cases around mine are approved already.
Anyone else waiting on a CA office approval?
Priority date: 8/7/19

Office: California CSC

Form: I-30

Would love to know I’m not the only one waiting over here :(
