Can anyone help in regards k1 visa sending photos as proof we met in the last two years . We got tons and tons of pictures together . But the problem is we love wearing hats. All our pics we wearing our hats. But I read some where they want pics with no hats . Please explain cause I don’t know  what to do. We have over 300 and all good ones like I mean all we wearing our hats , I love the Yankees so I wear hats everyday and all pictures since 2018 we wearing hats. I don’t plan on doing the petition anytime soon but the bulk of the pics we got of doing things together are with hats.

First of all you are not going to send tons of pictures. (In fact you don't have to send any.  They are secondary evidence)   Pick out a few of the two of you and send them in.  Pick ones that USCIS can see your faces on.

You do not wear hats on a passport photo.   Completely different.

Oh and relax!

As @Paul & Mary said, just select a few photos. I also think it’s good if you have any in front of an identifiable location. But as said photos are secondary evidence. Passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts are what you really need

So my question is in regarding to this i read online

People also ask

How many photos do I need for k1 visa?
Selecting your BEST Couples Photos for K1 Visa Processing

There must be a minimum of (10) color photos submitted standard size 5×7 on glossy film. USCIS requires pictures of the couple without hats or sunglasses and preferably facing the camera.

can you verify what this means in terms of sending in  couples pictures and  no hats, since all our pics are with hats. you stated passport but the question was not pertaining to passport. unless i confuse your answer.

Not sure where you’re quoting that from. But it’s incorrect. Photos as evidence of meeting for the 129f petition are not required

I just Google it and it came up lol

You can’t trust everything you read online. Many people including attorneys give false information. It’s best to go by what the USCIS says. Follow the instructions on their website

Did you apply and did the paper work by yourself or do you recommend a company or site.

If you can read instructions and fill out forms accurately you do not need to hire anyone for a process that you surely want to go smoothly with no delays or errors.  Paying a lot of money to have someone complete forms for you seems like a waste of money since you have to gather all the documents and information anyway.  There are many stories here on VJ of people who regretted spending money hoping it would be a good idea when they later found out it caused problems.  Most recommend doing it yourself unless there are special legal challenges like past deportations, criminal records, complicated past marriages and divorces, issues of inadmissability that require a waiver, etc.  Good luck!

I did it myself. Read the instructions carefully and used this site. You can learn a lot here by reading posts that relate to your process. As always you have to be able to discern truth from fiction.

good luck

Just bouncing off of this, I would also read consulate reviews here of your specific country and see what people are saying. Sure the I-129f requires no pictures, but anything not sent with the I-129f doesn't need to be accepted by the consular.

I would say it's more depends on your embassy what you should send. But that's just my opinion.

'Couple snapshots' are not considered primary evidence.  The burden is on the petitioner to show that the two met once during the two years prior, something that is difficult to do with photos.  Passport stamps and boarding passes are much better evidence.
