Recieved an interview for my mom this morning. Interview date is May 11. DQ March 19. All documents were in from last year June then in Spetember we got an RFE. October that was sent but NVC forgot to review after 5 months. I had to call them to review the document. I'm SO excited though.

Can I get some help for those who have already had interview. What did your mom take to the interview? What did they ask for? Any help will be appreciated.

In addition to this I also had my mom bring:

- a copy of my naturalizaron certificate (proof of petitioner being USC)

- certified translations of any documents in Spanish (had to get them translated for NVC stage anyway)

i also had her review all the documents we submitted to NVC (like, all the answers in the DS-260) as a refresher since it’s been a while since we put all that together.

You don't have to translate documents u nless the interview is being held in the USA, if the interview will be abroad in her case Belize she doesn't need to translate any documents. And yes, bringing a copy of your Naturalization Certificate is a good idea.

Hello guys, USCIS just approved my parents application. Now I am waiting for further instruction from NVC. My question is, how will NVC contact me? Through the USCIS account or mail? Are they going to contact me or my parents? Thanks guys.

Here's the timeline for both parents:

January 31, 2021 - Form I-130 received

April 17, 2021 - Actively reviewing

April 19, 2021 - Case Approved

Hi guys, I need your guidance please. I am working on the affidavit of support for my parents. I am self-employed and not making enough income. My husband and I filed joint tax returns and he is the main source of income. What forms do we need to submit? We did our research and we learned that I need to fill out the I-864 form and my husband needs to fill out the I-864a. In addition, we will submit the Tax Return Transcripts. Is this correct? I appreciate your response and letting me know about your experience. Thank you guys.
