I Am a bit concern because we got a note from NVC that the conselor officer will determine our case due to financial reasons. We do meet the treshold so no idea whats going on there. I am not worried about that. I am worried because our case still says at NVC waiting for requested documents. Anyone in the same boat. Will my mother get an interview with this status. I am not able to reach the NVC and when I emailed they send the generic email that we need to follow the stpes1-6. I did all that already. Anyone have any idea how to go about this or is in the same boat as me.

UPDATE:

I finally spoke with someone from NVC so my case was just sitting there for 1 document to be reviewed that I sent in from last year October. The lady on the line says that she will bring it to their attention because tht should have been reviewed months ago. SO fingers cross that my mom's case keeps moving to the embassy and they can schedule an interview.  I had to call many times and waited for 1 hr.

Waiting for the interview to be scheduled in Manila, Philippines.

God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and it takes a lot of faith but it's worth the wait. ❤️

It was surprisingly quick, I submitted everything on May 12 and was DQ’d by June 8.

Even the USCIS I-130 stage was quick, priority date was Feb 11 and case was created at NVC on May 1. Then the executive order came along grinding everything to a halt.

Please let’s us know about the interview experience, your mom would be one of the very few people to have ir5 visa interview this year.
