Hello!   My mom just got approved on May 18,2020. I filed mine on January 08,2020, Nebraska Service Center. Got the NVC number the same day via E-mail.   Still waiting for my

I'm not sure if this lifts the ban or not. My mom and dad's case is DQ on October. Still waiting

hoepfully interviews will move faster but let’s see, I’m sure the backlog will be crazy and covid restrictions with social distancing, etc, won’t help.

January 8th 2014 - NOA1

July 10th 2014 - NOA2

NVC

July 17th 2014 - Case shipped to NVC

July 30th 2014 - Case received by NVC

August 13th 2014 - Case number and IIN received by email

August 13th 2014 - DS-261 Form Completed

August 14th 2014 - AOS Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 17th 2014 - IV Fees Invoiced and Paid

September 19th 2014 - DS260 Completed

October 6th 2014 - AOS and IV Packages Received

November 28th 2014 - AOS and IV Checklist (4 items in total. 3 for documents they lost. Called on December 9 and a rep said no checklist for IV....go figure)

December 8th 2014 - Checklist scan date.

December 30th 2014 - Case Compl........NOT. So after not having an interview date yet, I called again on Jan 30th and apparently its in final review with a supervisor.

February 6th 2015 - Case Complete: Supervisor called from NVC to confirm everything has been completed now.

March 27 2015 - Interview Date

March 27 2015 - Approved!

Yes it is a good news! But I'm pretty sure they will prioritize first the people in line since last year since the lockdown affected everybody's interview schedule.

 

 

God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and it takes a lot of faith but it's worth the wait. ❤️

That is right. The embassy hadn’t been scheduling interviews because of presidential proclamation 10014, which has been revoked as of 2/24/2021 :).

Since you got DQed in April 2020 you might be hearing about the interview date really soon. Good luck!

My dad’s IR5 case got DQed on Oct 19th, 2020 so we will probably be waiting months.

it also depends on the country’s backlog too so that might help us a bit too!
