It is frustrating! Are your documents at Potomac as well?

Yes!

today is my Anniversary of the last update on my case. Fingerprints. Here’s hoping I don’t see a second Anniversary. Let’s go Potomac! :-)

My wife's naturalization interview is tomorrow, in Norfolk. We are super excited and she is nervous all the same. Our ROC has not completed and the interview letter didn't mention a dual interview, so that should be interesting.

No decision today, the officer didn't have her file, only the online naturalization application and uploads. The officer said she needs the file to make a decision. So no ROC approval or naturalization approval, however my wife passed the English and civics test.

No combo interview and I was not allowed in the building.

I filed the I751 end of March 2020 and the case didn’t have any updates until March 2021 to show the biometrics were reused. June will mark my three-year LR anniversary so without a doubt I filed N400 hoping the ROC case could be expedited. But then was notified they transferred my case from Nebraska to NBC which means I probably will face a combo interview. To my surprise, I received an email from USCIS yesterday saying a new card is being produced. This is such a relief as my DL expires end of 2021 and the N400 processing time is over a year.

long story short. Miracle does happen. Good luck to everyone who’s waiting.

Congratulations!

Which field office had your case before it was transferred?

Husband received an interview date for N-400 for November 10th! No update on RoC for his case so hoping for a double interview where he can get both processed. However, a previous commenter stated that it didn't go that way for them. I also called USCIS and they said if they were doing a double interview that it would be listed on the interview letter but it is not listed that way.

What will happen if your 18months extension will be expired soon? Mine will be expired Nob.24 and still nothing updates from USCIS, been calling hundred times and still nothing. I just got promoted to my job, and the company keep asking about my green card status😟😟😟 are they going to send me another extension before my 18 months extension expired?

I was in the same position. As soon as you are within 30 days of your extension expiring, call USCIS and set up an InfoPass appointment. They will tell you they will call you back within 30 days to give you your appointment time. My appointment was set for 3 days after my extension letter expired. I went and got my I-155 stamp in my passport and that is valid for a year. I showed that to my employer and everything is fine. So when it gets to October 25, call and say you need an InfoPass appointment. There’s a specific number on the website for it and they will answer - I had to wait over 2 hours on the phone but they tell you what the wait time is and you just have to accept that and stay on the phone until they answer.
