Greetings everyone!

I just want to give a quick update regarding my ROC. It's already approved! I got the approval notice on January 20th and  received the card on the 29th. I didn't have biometric appointment and interview.

I'm also thinking of filing early for N-400.

Stay safe everyone!

I received a transfer notice in the mail mid-December that my case was moved to NBC. That is not correct.

I called the USCIS 1-800 number today. The officer informed me that the case was moved back to Texas Service Center the very next day. Hence the consecutive case status updates on Dec 15th and 16th.

What a mess! I do not expect Texas Service Center to work on my case at all. I will be eligible to file N-400 for citizenship in 35 days. That is my best hope for progress.

Many of us will be become eligible to file N-400 this month or have already become eligible. Are you planning on filing this month?

I will be eligible March 9th. I plan on filing on the 10th.

Our online account says our interview was scheduled on 2/23 and we should be receiving the official letter in the mail.

Fingerprints were taken on 12/23 and we are at MSC service center.

Looking forward to the interview, whenever it is. We have had a LOT of problems with lost mail though. Can anyone weigh in how long between when the interview is scheduled and when the actual interview is? Hoping we have some time and hoping this doesn't get lost in the mail!

Only USCIS can answer this question as no one within this forum can categorically tell you when your interview will be scheduled. You might wake up tomorrow and found it has been scheduled for one month away or you might be waiting for the next two to three months with absolute cricket sound from them per the interview.

The only thing you can do now apart from getting ready is wait. Good luck

We got the mail and our interview is scheduled for April 1! Not a joke (at least I hope not!)

The waiting is really nerve wrecking. Today makes 300 days since I sent off my ROC and my last update was in April that they will reuse my previous biometrics. Anyone else waiting for Potomac Service Center?

Yes. No movement since May 13 for me which is when my notification came that fingerprints would be reused. My VJ estimate kept saying “any day now” and then “overdue” and now back to “any day now” although I know those estimates mean nothing.

It is frustrating! Are your documents at Potomac as well?
