I'm with Vermont but got an update that my case was transferred to another office last October 30, 2020.  I am still waiting for the letter to know why and where it was transferred to.

Hi Ella, did you receive your letter?  Where was your case transferred to?  I'm also Vermont and received a similar email today. On checking other cases, it seems they just selected a small batch for transfer.  Case numbers ending 42 to 47 were transferred today. I'll post an update when I receive the letter

Yes, I got the letter. I was transferred to the National Benefits Center.  Still no updates since then.

Yup, mine also went to NBC to speed up the process.  I've seen where some of these cases are approved between 2 and 4 weeks after being transferred, without interviews.  So fingers crossed 🤞!

I usually use my case status page, copy and past my case number, then change the last few digits to see case numbers close to mine

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus

Or you can download USCIS case tracker apps

That's great news.  But where did you see that info?

Around August i called USCIS to get some updates (of course none at the time), but the operator told me that if 3 months after my home office reopened due to covid i still had no appointment/updates i should call them back. So i called after 3 months and they issued me a service # and was told that my local office had 30 days to respond with updates, 20 or so days later i got my appointment letter.

So if you still haven't received your biometrics appointment you should verify when did your home office (uscis) opened after covid.

In my case, july 23rd is when my home office reopened. Call them so USCIS at least tells you what is going on with your case.

BTW my case status online never updated.

Cool! Which is your local office? I haven’t even checked to see when mine reopened, but I did get my fingerprint notification way back in May. I’m with Potomac

Same here. LIN service center. Applied in March 2020, checks were cashed and I received the notice within a week but nothing since then. Other LIN people, what are y'all thinking?

Just for the information, my biometrics appointment arrived on November 16th.

My online status has not changed from case received.

That only applies if you still haven't received a biometrics appointment by now.

Did they reuse your biometrics?
