Hi I'm new here... I wanna apply for citizenship for being married 3 years to US citizen spouse.. but my i751 is still in pending..I have some questions

Q#1

does my pending i751 application affect on my citizenship application???

and I have some confusion in form N 400.. I m living in USA since 2017 before that i used to live in Pakistan( my Birth Country)...

Q#2

In Part 5 of the form N-400 it asking for All addresses of last five year.. since I came in USA I resided in two addresses do I have to write just USA address or i also have to write my home country address too.???..

Q#3

In part 8 of N-400 it asking for 5year work and educational history.. since I came here I never worked and not take any education.. so do I have to write just USA work and educational history or I have to put my home country work and educational history too..?

Q#4

In Part 9 asking for trips and spending days outside the USA last five year.. since I came here I didn't spend any day and never went to anywhere outside the USA.. what I have to write here...

Please in need help in these questions... I already read the instructions but instructions making me more confuse.. help me please.. I have to send my documents on Jan14 2020

@Anum Fahed Hi. Here are some points:

  1. Pending i751 will probably be processed first during your N400 interview so don't worry about it, just have all your documents with you,
  2. It's best to mention all addresses even if outside the US,
  3. It's best to mention all education and work history, even if outside the US,
  4. Since you didn't go outside US, you don't have to mention any trips before that as this question is very specific.

Wishing you all the best. I am sure some senior members will validate the information you need.

Also keep in mind, the requirement is not married for 3 years, it is married to a US Citizen and LPR in the US for 3 years.  When was your 2 yr green card issued?  That is the start date as an LPR, so you can apply for citizenship after 3 years.  My wife's 2 yr card expires on 1/30/2020, +1 year means she can apply for citizenship January 30th 2021 at the earliest.

you cant apply for citizenship just because you are married for 3 years. You can apply for citizenship if you are a permanent resident for 3 years - 90 days . You should get some immigration advisor/lawyer  if you cannot understand the instructions

Not exactly.  She can apply 3 years minus 90 days from the date she became a legal perm resident.

You should have entered "4/12/2020" as the anniversary date.

Oh okay I got it now!! Thanks that mean I am eligible for Citizenship after 01/13/2020

Correct....But I would wait a few days after 1/13/2020 to be safe.  Even 1 day early will result in a rejection...good luck.

you can apply for citzenship 90 days before the 3rd anniversary - 90 days. So most likely this month you can file for citizenship

So the big answer is Yes. Make sure not to send before the 90 days cause they will send it back to you.  See the test case below
