Hi guys,

I petitioned for my wife (UK citizen) around mid September of 2018 (receipt date) and our I-130 was (finally approved) around mid Sept of 2019. The case was then transferred to NVC (took around 3 weeks) and we became document qualified just two weeks ago and still haven't heard back for an interview date. My question is, is that year time gap between the date of receipt and approval normal? If not, is there any possible issues that could have caused issues that we should be aware of. It's been over a year and a half almost since we petitioned and we're still currently waiting. Our case was transferred to Nebraska Service Center during I-130. Just seems like its been a while and I've noticed that USCIS especially has approved some other timelines much quicker. Thanks
