I'm already on it! I sent these questions to the authorities and I am awaiting a response. I never had an interview scheduled. I'm not one of those who had an interview cancelled and is now rescheduling the interview. The last correspondence I had was from the national visa center saying that my visa was going to be forwarded to the embassy Dakar. The interview date that I have been given is January 5th providing that I pay for the Visas by November 24th. I did not expect to be called at this juncture because they were calling people who had canceled appointments. They are moving faster than I expected. I received an email from the national visa center on March 31st. Hope that helps. Can anyone direct me to a thread on this site that goes with green card holders bringing their children to the US?

Thank you

You should be able to find the information you need by typing "Bringing Family Members of Permanent Residents to America" in the search option of visajourney.

March 31st is that the day your documents were qualified?

This is so weird. We were hoping and praying for the interview. Now we are hoping we don’t get called for an interview yet . Her pregnancy is too advanced and we are worried with all those medical exams. I hope we can postpone the interview date once we get it. Our priority date is April 2019. It doesn’t seem to be the right time.

Hi, I received an email from the Embassy in Dakar instructing me to schedule an interview. I have a few questions. Perhaps someone here can help me:

1. I was given the location of three doctors in Senegal who perform the medical. According to travel.state.gov there is also a doctor in Gambia who performs the medical. My fiance is in Gambia. Is she able to go to the doctor in Gambia to perform the medical?

2. According to the instructions given to me by the embassy my fiance is required to be vaccinated. According to travel. State.gov one can receive a K-1 Visa without being vaccinated. Vaccination is only required at the time of adjusting status in the US. Does anyone have experience with this situation? I'm not sure that all of the vaccinations required are available in The Gambia.

3. According to the instructions I have to pay for the interview at a participating ecobank in Senegal. Ecobank also has locations in Gambia. Is it not possible to make the payment at an Ecobank location in Gambia?

Thanks

Hi, did the embassy allowed you to do the medical in The Gambia?

Hello guys,

my wife had her interview on the 17 and she just received her visa and passport today. My concern is that she did not received the orange envelope. They told her everything is electronic going forward.

Is that the new process?

It has been the process for quite a while.
