Oh no. Let’s hope for a surprise 🙏🏾

I hope so! But we'll see. It's not us who decide the schedule. :)

Are you waiting for cancellation or just getting ready incase they cancel it.?

Seeing as the land borders are still closed, I don't think the embassy will be starting interviews (and almost certainly not K1 once they do start), so I fully expect them to cancel it within the week.

I did a quick summary of the Dakar Embassy and this is it.

April 2020,  They issued 1 visa only

CR1- 1 Visa only.

In May 2020, They only issued 3 visas only as follows.

CR1 - 1  Visa Only

IR2- 1 Visa only

IR5- 1 Visa only.

In June 2020, They issued 11 Visas only as follows

CR1- 1 Visa Only

IR1- 3 Visas Only

IR2 - 7 Visas  Only.

In July they issued 35 Visas as follows;

CR1- 3 Visas only

IR1- 11 Visas only

IR2-  21 Visas only.

This shows the embassy is actually opened but with minimal staff.

I have been following this report and it makes me wonder if they’re actually holding interviews or these are just visas issued that were under administrative processing?

@Teemasss, you point is very legit.

Howver, If you look at February 2020 summary that is before the virus hit hard, they processed

CR1 15 Visa

IR1 48 Visas

IR2 78 Visas

IR5 53 visas.

To be it looks like these are actual interviews base on the numbers.

May be am too optimistic too. LMAO

Anyone able to book an appointment for October @ the Dakar Embassy?

Hello, same boat except our file went to completed status from nvc since april. Still waiting for appointment. I guess you cannot make the appointment without the actual date from nvc.

at this point, i guess the appointment might be in January or even February  and for someone expecting that birth may happen in africa.
