I scheduled my interview but i didn’t receive an IL or confirmation directly from consulate?

Hi everyone,

 

at nvc stage my expedite request was approved, so when my case tracker said « ready » i scheduled my interview, it’s for Wednesday. I received an automatic confirmation email with date and hour and confirmation of payment, but not a “real” interview letter from the consulate. 
 

my consulate (naples) also schedules medical for the day before the interview but I haven’t received a confirmation for that either.

 

what should i do? Will the confirmation email be enough?

Advice is to get the ball rolling. Email them if you don't hear back immediately. Also, out of curiosity, what grounds was your expedited request?

I emailed them twice, the first time it was a super short answer telling me they received the case and i could schedule the interview, they didn’t reply to any of my questions. 
 

I called too and the person who replied just told me they can’t help me on the phone and literally hung up on me.

 

it was expedited for financial and emotional reasons.

Its on ur ustravel docs profile u make there u have to log in there and the appointment confirmation is there 

The cant help you over the phone for immigrant visas questions!

Is it this one? This is the automatic email i got after I scheduled the interview. But for people who got DQ i see they receive an IL with a barcode so I’m wondering if i will receive the same thing

When did you email for nvc expedite ? I emailed the nvc expedite but still no response yet after 3 days you know how long it takes for them to response?

I emailed them December 16th and they replied on the 19th saying they will review my request. They approved it on January 2nd.

ah almost two weeks huh. 

 

so hopefully should expect them to answer my email this week for reviewing it fingers crossed!

Yup but login to your ustravel docs profile there will be a confirmation letter there .

I don’t know what’s the us travel docs profile, I scheduled my interview on www.ais.usvisa-info.com , is that a separate website?

The automatic confirmation e-mail is all what we got. That's the one we showed them to enter the consulate as well as the medical exam.

We didn't get confirmation for the medical either. It was scheduled automatically.

Print out the page you got thats your appointment letter
