Well not quite, but the difficult part is If memory serves me correctly, Shona only submitted the VAWA petition, and what's next is to now apply to adjust status, by way of an I-485, but that should go smoothly now.

Now the I 360 is approved I can go forward and do the AOS

We are going to try and get the removal proceedings terminated if not then I'll have to adjust in front of the IJ in November.

Before all of this I'm reapplying for my work permit . When I received the NOID (not a denial) my application for working was denied anyway. Personally I think they should have waited before they had made their final decision and not just an intent before they denied my work permit but that's immigration for you.

About 10 o'clock this morning I received a call from my Congresslady. MY I360 HAS BEEN APPROVED. I'm in total shock crying and shaking . After nearly two years of waiting my emotions are just simply overwhelmed. I'm finally going be me again and will be able to move past this and live my life again. Thank you God for answering my prayers and thank you Steve my boyfriend for putting up with me through all this ordeal.

I called my attorney who hadn't yet heard. She called the Congresslady and then my attorney called me back. My petition had been approved on May 30th although there was no message online to say that I had been approved.

I just want to thank all of you who have been through this with me. Your constant kind words of encouragement and support have meant so much to me I can't thank you all enough.
