Hello,

I have a pending case for I485 for more than 6 months. I have been issued the EAD/advanced parole combo card. My questions are:

  1. Can I work for multiple employers? Means I will continue to work for my company who has filed for my GC but also start doing another job? This is because of financial constraints.
  2. Can this affect my I485 interview in any way?
  3. When the second company executes I9 verification, will it pop up during my interview? Can this be a concerning issue?

Thank you

I have no idea what will "pop up". However, not a concern.

Will you be maintaining full time employment with the sponsoring company?

Yes. Nothing is changing with my current employer. I will remain FTE. Only thing is I will join another company to do some work off hours.

Popup means if during I485 interview the officer finds out that I am working for another company at the same time and decides to deny my application for whatever reason related to this job?

As I mentioned previously, it is not grounds to deny your I-485.
