The petitioner's background check takes place after the interview.  You don't really know this process very well, do you?

Of course every case is different. No one is saying that your case will absolutely go into extended administrative processing.......hopefully it will not........But I am saying that no visa is approved until the CEAC status changes to "issued"........and anyone who is telling you to sell you stuff or make immediate plans to move is spreading bad information.....

Good luck.  Hopefully, the wait will be short for you.

Pakistan and Belgium are two different worlds when it comes to visas.......just hang around here for a bit longer.

so,  did most of us as this is a DIY forum  /  I even did my own appeal and won

but you need to understand ,  Belgium is not a high fraud country

those of us from high fraud countries go thru a lot more / our visa was finally granted after 5 years of marriage / now married almost 10

we have to wait longer,  work harder and feel like we are actually fighting the government

this is not easy for us

this is not fast

not quick

not cheap

Absolutely!  I hope you are done.  I was just trying to help others who may be reading and not posting that it truly isn't  over until you have the VOH.  I wish you the best and none of my comments were directed at your situation.

You did the EB-3 process in Belgium, which is completely different from the CR-1 process in Pakistan. You have no idea what you're talking about.

OP, glad to hear that the interview was a good experience. Hopefully the visa will be issued soon. Keep us updated!

Congratulationsssss!!!

My suggestion is don't sell your stuffs yet or buy ticket so you don't lose money like me because I did after I was verbally approved but visa wasn't ready for a month. That is the most absurd advise anyone can give, get your Visa first before selling anything....

My status was just showing ready for like 3 weeks and one day changed to AP and the next day issued, I was in AP for a day.
