I-130 Approved, Case Was Sent To The Department of State

Hi, My I-130 is approved and my case was sent to department of state. I am currently in the United States on a TPS. I came to the states as a F-1 student and applied the I130 through my wife who is a permanent resident. In my case status it says "Case Was Sent To The Department of State?". But I thought since I am here in the states I can directly file the adjustment of status I-485. And also while filling the I-130 form I have marked that I will apply for adjustment of status at the USCIS office in US. I am a little bit confused on what should I do next.

Spouses of permanent residents have to wait for their priority date to become current and only then could you file the 485 during the wait time you have to stay in status the whole time if you are to be allowed to adjust status in the US as overstay is not forgiven unless married to a US citizen. 
 

When did you submit your 130 and have you been out of status at any point (if so when).

I applied I-130 back on August 29th, 2018. I was never out of status. I was F-1 student earlier and now I am in TPS.
