Hi, my fiancee had her visa delivered yesterday, and her passport is in the do not open package. She will need it to leave the Philippines, so what should she do?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Rick

Her passport and "do not open" envelope are enclosed in a plastic package... she can open the plastic package to retrieve her passport... just do not open the brown paper envelope

A few times I've seen this question asked in posting it's been noted by some, that there is an outer package and an inner one. The inner one is sealed, and outside of this, is a letter from the Consulate and your passport. Is the outer package the one that has DO NOT OPEN on it and it's all taped up? You might want to call the Embassy/Consulate then, and ask them if you should open it. If you open something you're not supposed to, you might have to go have it resealed.

She can get her passport inside the plastic package so she can have CFO stamped (sticker) but tell her never open the yellow envelope. Congrats, tell her too start packing her things now.
