thank you Boiler,

I guess this is the approach

-apply for EAD & AP upon entry

 - request Expedite

 - AOS

apply for extension of 90 day EAD  before 90 days expiry after AOS

 - request Expedite

i will be in California - will you rccomend a walk in ?

Marry as soon as you get there and get the AOS package sent with EAD/AP (fee waived with AOS) and then expedite the EAD with the job offer you have.

The only ones I have seen of late have been filed by mistake so not sure what the current status is.

You won’t get it on entry.  After you get married, you can apply for the combo card with your AOS application.  You include a letter requesting expedite, with supporting documentation, just like everyone else.
