I need this 2 vaccinations as an adult, however the GP informed that those are not cover under the NHS. The pharmacist told me he is not license to perfom these vaccinations. Where could I go to have this done? And another question how soon can I travel again after arriving in the USA, I need to attend a wedding in June.

I have no idea about where to get the vaccines, but as far as travel, since you are coming to the US on a spousal visa, your endorsed visa functions as a GC for up to a year, so you can leave the US immediately if you want.

Good Luck!

Assuming you are not old you should have had MMR, have you checked your records?

Rotavirus is not a vaccination that is required.

And no, a lot of GP's will state the vaccinations are not covered under the NHS. You can argue the point, or you can pay. It's cheaper for you to pay the GP or pharmacy than it is to pay Knightsbridge during your medical.

I don't believe Boots offers MMR anymore (though they offer others). Superdrug might be an option though. https://healthclinics.superdrug.com/services/mumps-measles-and-rubella-vaccine

I remember I worked with the receptionist and the nurse at the surgery and got them for free. Didn’t even need to push them, just asked.

You can always pay for them at Knightsbridge.

Oh really I didnt know I could paid for them in Knightsbridge. I thought I had to have all my vaccinations prior to the medical exam.

Thank you for so much for this. The pharmacist I visited this morning was not license to give MMR , I will try Superdrug as you suggested. Rotavirus is listed in required vaccinations on travelstategov website, this is where I got lists of all the required.

Yes there's a list of vaccines, but that does not show the patient which vaccination is appropriate for their age. Rotavirus vax is given to those of toddler age. I suspect you are not a toddler. 😉

MMR (2 doses - this must be given spaced apart, so if you are getting this ahead of time especially if you never had this vaccine, it would be a good idea to complete this set)

TD/Tdap

Chickenpox (if you've ever had chicken pox this vaccination is waived)

Influenza (when in flu season).

If you are still under the age of 18 a few others do apply. If not the above is all you need.

Rotavirus is for infants, you sound like an adult so this would be marked as not age appropriate.

Oh ok yes I am an adult, so I guess it won’t apply to me. Thank you

Do the blood test for titers to prove immunity and bring it to your medical exam if you don’t have proof of shots or records of infections you had.

For Knightsbridge they require no proof. You may so state that you had chickenpox and they will take your word for it.
