Hi. I received an email from FPMManila@state.gov, the Fraud Prevention Manager of the US Embassy here in Manila, The Philippines telling me something like this (will copy paste):

"Good day.

On behalf of the United States Department of State, the U.S. Embassy hereby informs you that additional information became available after your visa was issued. You should not attempt to travel with your visa to the United States, as you will not be permitted to enter the U.S. and will be returned to your point of origin.

We ask you to come to the U.S. Embassy at your convenience.  Please let us know by responding to this email when you intend to come.

We appreciate your cooperation."

Does anybody know what's going on? I have been using my B1/B2 Visa since 2016?

the B1/B2 has been cancelled and they want to stamp the passport as such

i would say that now they have notice of your K1 application and believe there would be an attempt to AOS on a visit here

Agree that it appears your B1/B2 has been revoked.  What is the status of your K-1?

Please fill in your timeline....Thanks.

Then it is more mysterious, but the fact remains that your B1/B2 is gone.  Maybe you used it too often.

How often have you been using your B2? And for how long were your stays?

First entry was like 1 week. Second entry was 6 months. Third entry was like 5 months. I have a Fiancè in New York City. 😔

Now we are getting somewhere. 5 and 6 months in the US will definitely raise suspicion.

How much time in between the 6 month stay and the 5 month stay?

I see 3 possible reasons.

Indeed.

@Ace Buenaventura,

technically, we do not know specifically why your B2 was cancelled. but from our experience, you extended amount of time in the US is the closest guess we can have. You are now learning why it is so difficult for young single Filipinas to obtain visitor visas. Because they have a higher risk of staying too much in the US. You went from being in the US 1 week to staying here for months. That is a huge jump in vacation time. And if there was short amount of time you spent back home in the Philippines between the 6 month stay and the 5 month stay, it looks even worse.

A tourist B visa is for short visits to the US, not to live with your fiance for extended periods of time.  SInce you evidently violated the terms of the B visa, it has been revoked.  Your US fiance will have to file a petition for a K-1 for you, or get married outside the US and file for a CR-1 visa to enter the US next time.  You're looking at 8 months to a year or more.  During that time your fiance can visit you.  Good luck!

😭 after the 6-month stay, I went back to the Philippines and stayed for 6months before I went back again in New York and stayed for 5 months. 😭

We are planning to really get married this June 2020. Using my B1/B2 visa again to enter. But now, I guess it's been revoked. 😭😭😭

He will need to do the visiting.

He was just here on February 2 to 10, 2019 and December 25, 2019 to January 3, 2020. And met my family and friends recently. I don't know what to do now if ever they revoked my B1/B2 which I plan to use on June 2020 to finally get married either in New Hampshire or Maine by the water. 😭💔
