I assume you are referring to the K1 petition. No set requirement in regards to the pictures. Just make sure you date and provide a caption for each picture that you submit. Submit anywhere from 1 to 10 pictures. Personally, I did submit only 3 pictures with my petition. Pictures are secondary evidence anyway. In addition, submit the following evidence if possible:

  • Passport stamps
  • Boarding passes
  • Flight itinerary
  • Receipts
  • Hotel reservations
  • Bank statements showing transactions
  • Any other prove/ evidence supporting the claim that you have met in person

The more evidence you have the better. Just do not go overboard with it. Keep in mind that a person has to review it. You do not wanna overwhelm that person with 100 pictures.

That is what I suggest.

For the petition, the only photos needed are the passport style photos.

Relationship evidence is optional, but can be helpful with certain high fraud consulates. There is no preset number - use common sense. Nobody is going to look through a bunch of photos, especially if they are from the same trip.

How many pictures do you need?  NONE.

What you need is primary evidence that you have met face to face one time in the past two years. Pictures don't prove it.

YMMV

If you are talking about the passport style sized photos those are 2X2

If you want to include photographs of the two of you those can be standard 4X6 (doesn’t really matter but I wouldn’t send 8x10 size..) label with person, place & date

Proof to submit with the petition can be passport stamps & airline tickets that show you have met within 2 years, any travel you have done together (hotel receipts etc), a few pages of chat records, and photos with family & friends

I did  print like  3 photos in a single bond paper, each of them with a title that included the date and a very short description of the place.

As the other members said, photos are not always required, but  I think it is good to send them  along with the other provatory items that Rob listed before.
