Hello VisaJourney members,

it's time to send our AOS papers along with the fees.

Our question is, what is our total fee?

The Fees per form are:
Form I-485 - $1140 + $85 Biometrics
Form I-765 - $410 + $85 Biometrics
Form I-131 - $575 + $85 Biometrics.

On some sites we heard, that we don't have to pay all fees, if we file everything at once.
Is this true and what do we have to pay in total?

Thank you so much for your help.

it is $1225 all together.  I-485 filing fee includes fees for I-765 & 131.

Well, I just got a rejection and the I-765 sent back because I filed all 3 and they are saying the fee for the I-765 wasn't included.   I don't know what to believe.

This is the official information:  If you properly file Form I-485 and pay the required fees, you may file Form I-765 and Form I-131 without paying additional fees. what was your i-765 rejection reason ?

Did you submit all three forms with separate cover letters explaining on each you are filing all three concurrently?

They may not all be received by the same officer and they may not know you filed all three concurrently if you did not spell it out for them in neon lights.

This is a common RFE but you can post a screenshot of it here if you like.

The remedy is resubmitting the refused form with a photocopy of your I485 Noa1 once you get it.

Currently the fee is $1225 for I485 alone and I765 and I131 are free because you filed all three concurrently. The error is either you didnt tell them or they didnt read your separate coverletters.

Did you file the i765 with category a6 or c9?

YMMV

Just a correction, AOS fee doesn't include the fee for EAD and AP.

The fees for EAD and AP are waived when you have a pending AOS/filing concurrently.

As explained in my comment above?

Submit a coverletter on top of each form explaining in the body that you are filing concurrently.

I485 coverletter: "Please note i am submitting concurrently I485 AND I765 AND I131"

I765 coverletter: "Please note i am submitting concurrently I765 AND I485 AND I131"

I131 coverletter: "yada yada yada"

When your package is received and the separate forms get put on different officers desks they will see it?

Your cover letter for I-131 and I-765 should have neon lightening indicating that you are submitting I-131,i-765, I-485 as a single package.    If you dont and three officers get the three petitions they will reject them. The burden is on you to be crystal clear.

Except no officer touches the submission at lockbox.   If the submission is sent in one envelope,  one lockbox employee opens the envelope and one lockbox employee touches each

1) Please provide the evidence... where does I'll t state that fees for i-765 os waived when filing with i-485???

2) Do you pay the biometric fee separately and wait till you get to the fingerprint center to pay? Or do you send it as it's own seperate check but send it in with the $1140?

3) Does the EAD only let you work for 90 days within the K1?

@Donald120383 you are a great help thanks!

Last but not least, I'm assuming I should mail all these forms and their attached cover letters for each all in the same package to USCIS?
