My wife is from Ukraine, and we want to return back for a visit.  Her passport is in her maiden name, and the Green Card is in the married name.

From other forums, we’ve ready to buy the plane tickets in the maiden name, since that’s what matches the UA passport, and we’ll have the marriage certificate with us.

Our question is will she have problems when we’re flying back home since she doesn’t have a VISA in her passport.  All we’ll have is the Green Card which is in her married name.  Are there any other documents we need?

You purchase the plane ticket with the named used on her international passport.  Also take the green card and a copy of marriage certificate with you.  She does not need a visa as she already has a green card.  No other documents needed.

Book travel in the passport name.  Upon return, she will need her passport, green card, and marriage certificate to re-enter the US.......
