Will changing my last name negatively influence the process?

My husband (the beneficiary) and I (the petitioner) have applied for the CR1 visa. The NVC has received our application and we are currently waiting for them to grant him an interview. I'm starting to look into changing my last name to his last name, but I am wondering whether this will impact the process or what I need to do in order to proceed with this. If anyone has any experience with this situation, I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you.

No impact at all......Your marriage license is generally a legal name change document.  You can use it to change your DL, SS card, bank account, etc.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Sorry, not sure if I was clear in my original post. I meant if I go through with changing my last name, will our visa application be impacted negatively in any way? Would I have to notify the NVC/suffer from delays in the application process, etc?

If you want your green card in married name, make sure your passport is in your married name by interview.

So my husband is actually the applicant who would be moving to the United States. I'm the US citizen so this part doesn't apply to me. I was just wondering if changing my last name would influence any of the paperwork we already submitted using my maiden name and delay the process further.
