Manila - CR1 - Can/Should Petioner Attend Interview?

For those who have already done this....

Can/should I join my wife for the CR1 interview at the embassy? (I am the petitioner; She the beneficiary.)

What I read from the embassy says I can't accompany her, but I've read others who said they have.

Worth it? Value of doing so? Is it indeed allowed?

Thanks. 🙂

I'd be surprised if you were able to attend.

Also I feel like they mostly have their mind made up by the time they're interviewing you.

Yes, you can go to the interview with the beneficiary at the USEM. I went to the K1 interview for my then fiance now wife. It was totally worth it and put her mind at ease.

I have never read where the embassy in Manila states you can not attend the interview with your wife.    Quite the opposite.

I did attend the visa interview with my wife.   Did I need to be there?  No, but I truly enjoyed the experience.   I am quite sure my wife would have received her visa if I had stayed home.
