Husband threatening to deport me

Call USCIS until you get a real person, it takes patience and multiple tries but eventually you will be able to speak to someone.  Confirm your new mailing address with them, they can walk you through the steps you need to take to change your address so that your green card will arrive where you are or at an address where you can get mail.  Green cards take longer than SS cards, my husband's took three months to arrive after he came to the US a few months ago.  The SS card comes faster so as others have said, go to the nearest SSA office and tell them your situation and they can help you get your SS card at your new mailing address.  Stay safe and far away from your husband.  Good luck!

He said he will say that I used him for the GC because I left so quickly

Umm he abused you quickly. What an(removed)

I was in an abusive relationship myself and his family tried to deport me, pull sponsorship etc

You have your green card in your passport and I hope you took it with you when you left this morning! He can't do anything to you and you can always get a replacement green card. Don't let him blackmail you!

An awful lot has happened in a very short period, probably best if it is all kept in one thread.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I agree with the others above, get to a safe place, call the police and report the extortion, get a good divorce lawyer, and most importantly, do not worry about any immigration concerns other than filing the AR11 change of address, as that is the least of your worries. Your soon to be ex can bloviate all he wants about having you deported, it is simply scare tactics.

Good Luck!

Can my husband go to immigration or call them and get information about my case?

Will the give him my new address?

I couldn’t get any information on Nita’s case unless she got on the phone and gave them permission.

As for your situation - extorting money for immigration is something USCIS is interested in and prosecutes.  Staple that email to your VAWA evidence that you married a dirtbag in good faith.

I know you don’t see it like this but more he does things like he’s doing the more it helps your case.

Even minus the extortion, him taking mail addressed to you (your green card) is a crime. Even if it was sent to “his” address and you are married. It’s your mail. Above all his is a jerk, but an idiot as well for emailing all this to you. Report it.

VAWA has no role here. They are an LPR already

The usps change of address - it says he's gonna get a notice about it, I don't want him to know that I changed the address and don't want him to know where I am staying

I can't speak to specifics as I am actively engaged in the COA processes (I am an IT contractor for USPS), but the notice sent to the original address is related to preventing fraud.

IIRC, the new address is not on the notice. It's just a notice that the address was changed so that somebody can report fraud if it was done without their notice.
