I had Medicaid based insurance when i arrived last year as i was pregnant, unfortunately i am no longer pregnant.

 

My husband has medicaid based insurance also,  can i get added to his?

 

He doesn't pay for it.. is that a problem? Should we be looking at other types of health insurance?

I though NYC gave Medicaid to all?

Im not sure, we are in upstate NY.  Im just worried even if i get added to his insurance will this class me as a public charge?

Usually you need to be a LPR for 5 years before you can get Medicaid so check first if you are eligible, if not you can buy it.
