My fiance went to his GP today. He had the MMR and TD shots, but is getting the flu shot Wednesday at Boots. He had chicken pox but it wasn't on his health summary so i dont know if that is not common to list it in england. I know you said they take your word for it if you said you had chicken pox, but if we get a stickler i'm nervous we will need proof. i also dont want my fiance to get another shot if not necessary. has anyone else got through this?

UK standards are  flu shots for children and elderly so NHS won't give them to others like your fiancé.

Chickenpox probably wouldn't be on any summary. My mum didn't call the doctor when I had it. It's just something almost every kid gets because U.K. does not immunise for it. Just tell him to tell the medical "My mum said I had chickenpox when I was __ yrs old. They will mark his DS-3025 as a waiver for the shot.

Thanks, yeah that is what his doctor said, so he told him the fastest way to get the flu shot was go to boots. so he made an appointment on weds.

Our medical was about 2 weeks ago and they took all four of our passport photos and stapled them to various sheets used through the exam.

Hi, My fiance set up his medical appt for next Monday. Since you did it recently, can you let me know your experience of what they did exactly / asked for? I read that they asked for a TB test and that some people had a skin test or xray but they said to ask for an xray? Anything helpful that may not be on the website would be great. My fiance cant prove he had chicken pox though so I guess / hope they will take his word for it.

He will get an x-ray at the visa medical in London unless he is pregnant. No other choice.

Did you bookmark the link to the visa medical clinic in London you have seen posted before ?

Did you read the menu tab that says What to expect during the medical examination. It's a helpful read, straight from the clinic.

Thanks for the x-ray information. Yes, Anything helpful that may not be on the website would be great. Any experiences, tips, that you can only provide through experience and not on a list regarding my questions in the link
