No interview dates available on the website to schedule

we received our packet 3 on December 17th I am still waiting for an interview date to pop up on the website to schedule there is none what is taking so long why can I not see an interview day pop-up what should we do just sit and wait

If there are no interview dates available the embassy's schedule is booked. It's just seeing your Doctor. If there are no appointments available then you need to take the next available date. It works the same with the embassy. Keep checking for cancelations that you can grab.

Yes. I have seen 3-6 months for some embassies. With the problems that Venezuela is enduring it doesn't surprise me that it this long for you. Keep checking for cancellations or for when the calendar opens again.

 

If you look at others you'll see it's taking about 4 months from NOA2 for an interview.

This is for a k-1 Visa and the embassy is in Columbia for the interviews

My mistake. You see I use the individuals profile to determine the embassy where the interview will take place. That way I don't look like an idiot, as I do now - thank you, so if you could do you and the rest of us a favor and change it to Columbia then we can give you more factual information. Thank you.

I'm sorry she is from Venezuela but there is no embassy in Venezuela so that it is directed to Columbia

Change your profile to read Columbia. We don't care where she is from as she is going to abide by the embassy requirements for Columbia and not Venezula. So when I or anyone else is going to give advise it will be based on your profile. Wrong profile WRONG answer. Wrong answer equals visa denial. Just how this process works. Thanks.

It serves no real purpose to show where she is from as it is the embassy that she is going to interview in that's important. We answer your questions about the process based on your timeline and then your embassy. So knowing both of those items is important to a factual answer. After all, that's why you are here, isn't it? Guys it’s Colombia 🤗

And it seems like Bogota Embassy it’s full, I took me some time to find a date available for my sons passport and CRBA, to get an appointment I kept checking every day until they opened new dates and we got our appointment for February

so there's nothing wrong it is just a matter of sitting and waiting for an opening I'm just surprised it takes this long for an opening for an interview date

That's how it is now days, I remember this happening to applicants in Mexico, about a year ago. Apparently everything is because of the problems in Venezuela, so most applications were sent to Colombia.
