Random question but my husband’s visa expired September 6 but his Jamaican passport is still valid can we travel domestically with his Noa1 letter even though the visa is expired?

Use the Jamaican passport as ID. The NOA1 will only be heeded if his status in the US is questioned. He is in a period of lawful stay even though his 194 stay granted on entry with his K1 has expired

His visa expired the moment he arrived in the US and used the visa to get in.

He's fine to travel anywhere in the US just with passport.

the visa date said 9/6/2019, i understand the international piece of once he entered, its the domestic i wasnt sure of.  In Jamaica, a passport is not what is issued for travel to the USA (even as a visitor) they get a Visa page just like the k1.  so that is why i was worried

ok perfect, that was my thought.  I have read too many horror stories travelling without the NOA1 so i am waiting to book until it comes.

The date on the Visa is just the latest day he could use the Visa to get in the US,. The moment he used it, it had no validity anymore. What matters now is his i94/AOS.

I've traveled domestically even before getting married. No problems at all.

When travelling domestically on the US, the foreign passport is used for ID.. lawful status of the passport holder is not usually questioned during domestic travel .. but if it is , that’s what you have the NOA on hand, ready
