Hi everyone. I'm current completing the packet for AOS, TRAVEL DOCUMENT, EMPLOYEMENT AUTHORIZATION AND PETITION OF ALIEN.

For Affidavit of support. My husband made $27,500 for this coming  2019 tax file. $22,000 for 2018 $ 27,000 for 2017.We're household 2. Do we need a joint sponsor for strong ties? I wanted to make sure if we are qualified for Poverty Guidelines.

I don’t think the guidelines for 2020 are out yet, but based on the 2019 guides for a household of two he meets it barely ($21,137).  That being said, I would suggest exploring potentials for a joint sponsor in case it is asked for.

Good Luck!

He made almost $27,000 for 2019 this coming annual income. Thank you for you advice. Fo joint sponsor, is there any POVERTY GUIDLINES limit?
