Did you file I-131 as well? My 485 and 765 have been updated to show fingerprints have been taken but not the 131. I assume this is normal because the 131 wasn’t even on the fingerprint notice (apparently because it’s bunched together with the 765) but just want to make sure.

I assume this is normal as well. The only cases that show the Fingerprints update for me are the I-485 and the I-765.

Yes!

Hi, I just received the biometrics notice. I'm wondering did you walk in for the biometrics or wait until the scheduled date? I saw a post says Orlando office don't take walk-in.

Yes, I walked in during the scheduled date. And that's not true, you can go to the ASC here in Orlando during your scheduled date, they will let you in.

Got a case update from USCIS, the letter for my biometrics appointment was returned to them by USPS. Reason stated is that they could not deliver it. That does not make sense as I received NOA1 at the same address...Had to put in a request to resend the letter and have to wait more now...😒

For our story, look at my profile.

Same thing happened to me and then a week after biometrics I got a notice in the mail about how biometric data were added to my I-131 file and that I don't need to go to ASC for biometrics anymore, etc. When I checked my case online, my I-131 status was updated accordingly. Safe to say you don't need to worry. 😊

I never got such a notice nor has my 131 been updated. Has anyone else had this notice delivered and/or an update?

My i-131 status just updated to say fingerprints have been applied. This is almost four weeks after the i-485 and i-765 updates.

Interestingly, USPS informed delivery also shows a letter from USCIS regarding my i-485. I'll have to wait 'til after work to find out what that's about. (I have no case updates showing issuance of RFE's so I'm hopeful it might be a courtesy letter.)

Hey @Ad3line

I basically have the same timeline as you (+/- a couple of days) and I also got an informed delivery notification for a letter from USCIS also. My only issue is that I changed addresses and the letter was suppose to be forwarded to my new address (it had the official USPS forwarding label with the date 03/05/2020 stamped on it) but it never arrived at my new place.... I don't know what this letter is regarding, especially bc I only listed the address (that the letter got sent to) as my physical address but my mailing address is different. So far, all of my NOAs (except for the I-131 - probably because it didn't have a section for a mailing address, only physical address) got sent to my mailing address.

So long story short,

1. If you don't mind sharing, what was your letter regarding and how did you know it was for your I-485?

2. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Thank you (and trying not the panic)

You need to start an inquiry with USPS regarding the letter. Within the Informed Delivery e-mail, I believe there's a link you can click to notify them you haven't received a piece of mail. If it has been more than five days, there will start looking into what may have happened.

The address window on the Informed Delivery scan of my letter was showing the top piece of the letter said RE: I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. As an update to my last post, it was indeed a courtesy letter about getting my I-693 paperwork together.

Now the Informed Delivery e-mail I just received today shows another letter from USCIS. Hoping this one will say ready to schedule interview!

Thank you for getting back to me!

I just filed an inquiry with both USCIS and USPS, so hopefully someone will get back to me and I didn't go overboard.

I've been reading a couple of other posts and some people have been getting 2 biometric appointment letters so I'm hoping that it might be that. Because an RFE sent to this address just doesn't make any sense.

And that's good to here! Fingers crossed that your new letter is an interview appointment.
